A SPRING DAY RETREAT IN BICKLEY VALLEY

A delightful day retreat curated by Erin, Lara & Lucy to restore and rejuvenate you for the final months of the year ahead. Spring time is poignant for clearing out un useful habits, creating new vision and intentions and embodying our potential to flourish and blossom, just as it is mirrored in nature.
Our time together incorporates Yoga, Vedic Wisdom, Sound Healing & wholesome nourishing food to assist with realigning you with the rhythm and nature of Spring. Our location is set in a luxurious private home in the Bickley Valley (40 minutes from Perth CBD) where we are surrounded by the abundance and beauty of Spring, reminding us of vibrance and renewal.
As we near towards the end of the year and can easily become swept up in the current of life an opportunity to pause, reflect, recalibrate and gather insight is invaluable for productivity and potential. The Unfolding of the Day.
9:30am Enliven – Yoga lead By Lara & Sound Bliss with Lucy
11:00am Fresh pressed coffee / delicate tea’s / Refresh Juice and Cleanse juices & edible delights
11:30am Inspire – Talk and Meditation lead by Erin
12:30pm Nourish – Curated by Lucy
We have allowed 1.5 hours for a lunch break for a time to decompress and reflect. Our location is stunning and you might like to wander the grounds, head for a walk or simply bring a book to read and rest in one of the many quiet nooks available around the place.
2:00pm Restore – Yoga Nidra lead by Lara followed by Sound Bliss with Lucy
3:30pm Tea & teleport home.
Lara will teach a specialised Yoga practice threading specific pranayama, asana and mantra techniques to assist you in letting go, lightening up and make room for clarity & insight. Spring time is ripe with creativity, growth and enthusiasm. Our practice will aim to assist us in embodying our potential for the season ahead.
Erin looks forward to sharing Vedic perspectives on Creativity, Consciousness and Flow and inspiring practical ways to integrate this transformative wisdom into your every day life.
A colourful plant based spread will be carefully curated in our kitchen, inspired by the fresh and vibrant foods of Spring. Lucy’s wish is to help you feel joyful and revitalised for the remainder of your afternoon. Kindly inform us of any dietary requirements you may have.
Yoga Nidra or Enlightened Sleep is a deeply restful and restorative experience. It is practiced lying down with complete sensory withdrawal as you are guided into a place of rest and total ease. A Yoga Nidra practice has been shown to be equivalent to 2 – 3 hours sleep and unsurprisingly following a practice you can feel rested, relaxed and energised.

Lara of Sukha Yoga is a student, lover and teacher of Yoga. Lara teaches ‘Lotus Flow’, a vibrant and inspired vinyasa practice deeply rooted in wisdom of the traditions of Yoga. She continues to layer her teaching with explorations from recent study and studentship in Scaravelli Yoga & Katonah Yoga. Lara finds immense joy in weaving together a practice drawing from the expansive tools & techniques of Yoga. It is with this effort she wishes to curate a well rounded experience for you to find centre and enjoy!
Erin is a Vedic Meditation teacher and founder of House of Bhàvanà, a place for cultivating a curious and playful sense of spiritual and soul inquiry through meditation, shared knowledge and community. As a student of the Vedic wisdom tradition – a 5000 year old body of knowledge on how to live a full and deeply expansive life, Erin is truly enlivened by the opportunity to share practices that free people to apply discernment to their own inner and outer worlds.
Lucy is a secondary teacher who specialises in upper school Food Science. A former graduate of Nutrition, Lucy is passionate about whole-food, plant based cooking with delicious organic ingredients. In her holidays and out of school time she provides specialised meal delivery requests and caters for retreats in the local area. Lucy also teaches Yoga and enjoys weaving her harmonium & crystal singing bowl to enhance the experience.
