  • We believe that where you choose to invest your time, determines what you learn, experience, and receive from life.

Both ancient wisdom and modern science recommend an investment of time in meditation to experience a profound impact on your eyes open state (the rest of your life). We like to think of it as an investment of 3% of your day (2 x 20-minute sessions) to enhance the remaining 97% of your day.

We teach Vedic Meditation to the busiest of the busy and we ensure to collaboratively and creatively find space in your day for your practice, whatever demands and schedule you face.

Did you know the average Australian invests more than 8% of their day on social media, alone?

  • We have never been more exposed to constant streams of information, stimuli, demands, and expectations. As life continues to throw more and more our way, it becomes increasingly difficult for our minds and body to effectively and healthily process and digest these experiences.

Meditation is a powerful antidote to the negative impact of stress on our minds, bodies, and lives. Each time we meditate, we restore the intricate mind-body connection, allowing us to operate from a place that is more calm, clear, and creative.

Meditation connects us to the part of ourselves beyond our thoughts, emotions, intellect, and judgment. It is this place of ‘being’ where we access our truest essence; and the source of life, creativity, and love itself. Each time we sit to meditate, we become more available to our life, the present moment, to our loved ones, and ourselves.

  • Other systems of meditation typically involve concentration or control of the mind. Vedic Meditation on the other hand is an easy and effortless style that absolutely anyone can learn. In fact, the less you do, the better!

There is no need to control the mind or body or to empty the mind of thoughts. We are not trying to create a perfect state of stillness and silence. We simply sit comfortably, with our backs supported. No uncomfortable ‘lotus’ style positions are required. Instead, we create the perfect conditions for the mind to expand and the body to rest, restoring and revitalising the intricate mind-body connection.

Unlike other techniques, Vedic Meditation requires no other tools. No apps, no meditation cushions, no ‘drop-in’ classes.

  • Vedic meditation isn’t ‘mantra-based’ meditation, it’s known as a transcending technique. You use a personal mantra but this practice is not about focusing or concentrating on a mantra or about having it in your mind the whole time. Vedic meditation is an ‘effortless letting go’ practice. We use a mantra and a specific way to think the mantra to cause the mind to transcend.

  • No, you don’t have to give up anything! Other than adding meditation to your day, we don’t ask you to change a thing about your lifestyle.

  • Yes! We highly recommend meditating when pregnant! Meditation is extremely beneficial and will support you pre-conception, pregnancy, and postpartum. Your teacher will share a specific program of practice for you during this time. Please make it known to us if you are pregnant so we can help you create a smooth, enjoyable, and graceful experience into motherhood.

  • The course runs in a group format with anywhere from 2-10 people. We like to keep the groups small to ensure everyone receives individual attention and instruction and walks away feeling confident with their practice. We also offer private courses for those who prefer one on one instruction. Please contact us for more details.

  • Absolutely not. We teach everyone from complete newbies to experienced meditators, who are seeking an alternate or deeper meditation experience. We teach children through to adults with no prior experience or pre-requisites required.

  • Personal instruction with a teacher face-to-face really is the best way to learn. The mind can be complex, layered, and full of paradoxes. Having an experienced teacher who has been trained to understand its complexity and show you how to navigate this can save you confusion and misunderstanding whilst also providing ongoing support for the lifetime duration of practice.

A true teacher will make you confident in your own self-sufficiency - not to depend on them or a device. Online courses and apps can be a great way to start your meditation journey, however learning face-to-face with a qualified teacher will always give you a deeper and richer experience.

  • Absolutely anyone can learn Vedic meditation! If you ever feel like it’s not working, you will receive complimentary continued guidance until you feel confident with the practice. Once you learn you can re-sit the course anytime at no additional cost.

We also run regular refresher courses to keep you inspired and help you get back on the meditation wagon if you’ve fallen off!
